The Prosecutor's Office of Fier has seized the documentation from the municipality of Lushnje regarding the practice that has been followed in this suburban area of the city for granting permission, since the construction was done under the high voltage pole.
In the meantime, it is expected to be verified whether checks were carried out by the inspectorate and how it happened that the works were being carried out outside the construction permit after the deadlines had been exceeded.
The prosecution has not yet interrogated MP Bujar Çela, who was injured by the explosion in his warehouse in Lushnje on March 1, 2024, where father and son lost their lives and 7 others were injured.
Today, the police of Lushnja have handcuffed a 32-year-old man, who was in charge of the work in the silo where the explosion occurred.
According to the police, the arrested person was authorized to carry out the construction of the silo, according to the enterprise contract.
According to the preliminary investigations, the 32-year-old Leonard Gjini allowed the works to be carried out, without respecting the relevant regulations of technical insurance, of technical discipline of occupational safety and did not take measures for implementation.
