The brother of Liridona Ademaj, the 30-year-old who was shot dead a few days ago in Pristina, has confessed about the serious incident, showing how the suspicions started with Naim Murseli, his sister's husband.
He stated that the day after the murder, he had met Naimi together with two of his relatives, where Liridona's husband had also started to give some contradictory statements.
He further revealed that when everyone had gone to the morgue to see Liridona's body, Naim had refused saying that he could not see his dead wife.
How did you find out that Liridona died?
Brother: I was at work, my wife called me around dinner and told me that Liridona had been killed after a confrontation with thieves. When I saw it it seemed true based on the news. I came home and tried to get my parents closer and I sent them to the hospital to be sedated.
After I gave them sedatives, we left for Pristina. We went to KKUK and they told us that Liridona was not there. We went to Dragodan to the police station, Liridona's husband, Naimi, was also there giving a statement together with the children.
Once we talked to the children, we talked to them and I asked them. They said they forgot their mom and ran away after someone asked them for the money. When I asked them how they got away, they did not give me an answer. That night the conversation with Naim was very short. He told me that the robbers came out and demanded money.
But he said he managed to tell the children in Swedish to run away and opened the doors for the children and ran away with them. When he turned his head back, it was not Liridona. After 4-5 meters he heard a crack. I wanted to provide for the children and then go back to my wife, he told me. Then the police came and informed her at the station that she had passed away.
Brother: It didn't occur to us at all, we had no doubts. We were only thinking about what happened to Liridona. That night we had no doubts. Doubts started the next day. It was around 11 o'clock the next day and we were waiting for him to call us. My uncle's son told me that we should meet Naim, we called him and he didn't pick up the phone. It was with a personal driver all the time and he told me they were in a hotel.
We went there to meet him in Pristina. We entered the room, he was standing there. After a few moments, breakfast came to the room, we were sleepless without food from the previous night. We were not even able to get our hands near to eat.
The uncle's son started to ask him. His answers were surprising, he didn't know what he was saying. He contradicted his own words. Doubts arose there, but again I did not think so. He said he was on the phone and then he didn't see the thief, Liridona saw him. He was giving the car, while the uncle's son told him how you were giving the car when you were on the phone. There he said that not like that.
We asked him why he didn't open his phone and he said it was stolen. We told him someone is hanging up. So it wasn't off. We called the police and told them that Naim's number was working. I asked him, where is Liridona and he said that Liridona could get ready today and we were not allowed to see her. Naim came with us to the morgue and I went in first. When we look next, Naimi was not. No, I can't see him, he said, making some facial expressions.
The next day he came 2 hours before the funeral ceremony. The night we were in Pristina, we came home. Naim said he had to pick up the children and he came here and stayed for 1 hour. He said that at 8 o'clock, on the day of the funeral, the police had asked him to question the children. 12 o'clock passed and Naimi did not come. I called him on the phone and told him why you didn't come.
I stayed with the children, he said. That's how Naimi came around 12 o'clock. He comforted our family members very little, some not at all. After that, from 2 o'clock we took my sister and ran to the cemetery./ BW
