A 25-year-old Albanian man and his Latvian partner have been arrested by British police on suspicion of murder. The incident is believed to have taken place in the town of Gravesend, Kent, England.
Authorities say officers were called Tuesday evening, at approximately 10:21 p.m., to reports of a fight between several individuals outside a residence on Augustine Street. At the scene, police found a man in his 30s with a knife wound.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he died in the hospital.
Police announced that 25-year-old Shahim Bulica, originally from Albania, and Erika Korska, 31, from Latvia, both residents of Gravesend, have been formally charged with murder. They were arrested shortly after midnight on Thursday and are currently in custody.
They are expected to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday. Investigations are ongoing and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact police.
