The Belgian police have arrested three Albanian suspects for several thefts in Hageland, all at the beginning of February, in Linter and Zoutleeuw. The Getevallei police area was able to link a car to those 3 thefts.
The police near Mechelen checked another car where there were three Albanians who could not explain why they were in Belgium. That car turns out to be registered to the same address as the car linked to the thefts.
In addition, the mobile phones of three men, aged 24, 36 and 37, may also be linked to the Hageland burglaries. That's how the pieces of the puzzle came together. 1 suspect denies everything, the other two refuse explanations. The council chamber will decide on Friday whether they will remain in custody.
