Two persons announced as international wanted were arrested today at Rinas airport.
It is about a Turk and a Pole, who have been handcuffed as part of the "Rule of Law" operation. Extradition procedures to Poland and Germany will begin for both of them.
Robert Chojnacki, 52, a resident of Poland, was arrested during the operation. He was declared an international wanted by Interpol Warsaw, after the Local Court of Poznan, Poland, sentenced him to 5 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" carried out in the form of a structured criminal group and "Participation in a group criminal" provided for by the Polish criminal legislation;
OO, 53 years old, born in Turkey and resident in Germany, was also taken into custody. His arrest was made after the Local Court of Hildesheim, Germany, in 2021, issued an arrest warrant for committing the criminal offense of "Fraud", provided by German criminal legislation.
Interpol Tirana will carry out the procedures for the extradition of these citizens to Poland and Germany.
