
A 40-year-old Albanian was found injured by passers-by in the early hours of the morning in Irakleo, Crete.
With a gunshot wound to the leg, the Albanian was transported to the Pagni hospital in Crete, where his life is out of danger.
Initially, the Greek police suspected that the incident was related to a conflict for weak motives that happened in a night club in the area of Agiou Kostantinou in Irakleo. However, the testimony of the injured person has shrouded the event in mystery.
He confessed that he was parking the vehicle near the apartment, when masked persons kidnapped him and after taking him to another place, shot him in the leg and abandoned him.
The 40-year-old says that he has not been able to identify any of the perpetrators, meanwhile, according to the police, it turns out that the 40-year-old has had previous threats.
