"The event that happened yesterday, in the village of Melgushë, where a firearm was fired at the citizen JM is revealed. The suspected perpetrator is identified and put in handcuffs.
As a result of quick and professional investigative actions, organized and carried out immediately after receiving the notification, that on the morning of 24.07.2024, during a conflict for weak motives, between citizen JM, 32 years old, resident of Melgushë and several citizens others, it was suspected that he was shot with a firearm, in the air, the services of the Vau i Deja Police Station, in cooperation with the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person, of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate, have identified, caught and detained the suspected perpetrator, Citizen: ED, 36 years old, resident of Dobrač village.
This citizen is suspected of having fired a firearm in the direction of citizen JM, during the conflict between them, for an unpaid debt. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodra General Jurisdiction, for further actions", the police informs.
