Marsel Baçi, a 26-year-old from the village of Podgorie i Maliqi, has been arrested by the police, after allegedly using a 16-year-old minor girl for prostitution.
A 41-year-old man, identified as Selam Hyka, who is suspected of violently having sexual relations with the minor citizen in question, ended up in handcuffs.
Sources close to the investigation group indicate that the two arrested persons have been exploiting the minor for several years.
This is also accepted by the 16-year-old's family members, where the mother testified to the police that the girl was threatened in most cases not to talk about the serious incident.
In the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the investigations continue for the complete documentation of this case and for the identification of the other citizens involved.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.

SH, 41 years old, resident of the village of Leminot, Maliq, for the criminal offense "Sexual or homosexual relationship with violence with minors aged 14-18". During the actions carried out in the presence of the psychologist, the parent and the legal defender, the 16-year-old girl reported that in June 2024, this citizen had violent sexual relations with her and gave her money;
MB, 26 years old, resident in the village of Podgorie, Maliq, for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution", as from the investigative actions carried out for this case, it is suspected that he used the 16-year-old woman for prostitution", informs the police.
