Tirana Police have provided details regarding the attempted robbery of the FiBank branch in the former Park area.

Police arrested 58-year-old Bardhyl Fusha, while the official announcement states that he fired a gun inside the Bank's branch.

At around 11:15, on Kavaja Street, citizen Bardhyl Fusha, around 58 years old, is suspected of having entered the premises of a bank, with the intention of robbing it, by shooting with a firearm, on the floor. No citizens were injured from the shooting.

The Police Services intervened immediately after receiving the notification and made it possible to capture the suspected perpetrator while attempting to flee the scene. The suspected perpetrator was escorted to the Police Station. The firearm was also seized.
