Tried to kill police officers in Belgium, the Albanian is arrested in Montenegro

An Albanian citizen with the initials H. H, has been arrested by Interpol officers in Podgorica, after he was wanted internationally for the attempted murder of several police officers, while performing official duties in the city of Verlaine, Belgium.

The suspect was wanted by Interpol Brussels in order to carry out criminal proceedings at the Court of First Instance in Liège. For this criminal offense in Belgium, he can be sentenced up to 20 years in prison.

"The person has been arrested for extradition by order of the investigating judge and an exchange of information is expected between the Ministry of Justice of Montenegro and the Ministry of Justice of Belgium," the police announcement states.
