Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha underlined that civil disobedience will start very soon throughout Albania, but not because of SPAK's request for the removal of his immunity.
Invited to the show "Ditari" on A2CNN, he described his case with justice as personal and emphasized that he will accept the decision of the Parliament, whatever it is.
He added that the real reason why Albanians will fill the squares is the violation of the rights of the opposition by Rama.
“No, today's decision of SKAP is not related. It is a decision that I personally had denounced before. But their request to the Parliament in one aspect is a request that they can address. I have declared that I will implement the Parliament's decision that I had nothing personal in my position, I defended the constitutional power of the Albanian Parliament. Let the Parliament decide as it wants, I know, as Edi Rama tells him, he will decide.
The biggest problem is taking the constitutional rights of the opposition. The constitutional right of the opposition in the Parliament with the appointment of its representatives by Edi Rama, with the blocking of the legislative initiative of the opposition deputies and the most serious blocking of the parliamentary commissions. For this, of course, the opposition will be invited and civil disobedience will spread not only in the Parliament but throughout the country. There is a not-so-distant fast deadline, but of course we see efficiency. We must have an efficient movement. This of the Parliament had extraordinary efficiency", said Berisha.
