
The prosecution of Catanzaro in Italy has closed the investigations for the operation that revealed the connection between Albanian and Italian crime exponents of Catanzaro, accused of an association aimed at illegal drug trafficking, extortion and receiving stolen goods.
The drugs, mainly heroin, came from Turkey and, passing through Albania, were imported into Italy through the port of Bari, to be then distributed to drug trafficking centers in Crotone, Catanzaro and the provinces.
According to the conclusions of the investigations, Arkez Dibrani was at the head of the organization, with a station in Albania, from where he directed drug trafficking, making decisions about the transportation of narcotics and providing the managers and means of the transport company "Ke.gi" for activities illegal", based in Durrës.
Also, Dibrani was helped by Samuel Garuja, Isa Garuja and Samuel Muça. The three were responsible for the Catanzaro drug distribution network, establishing contacts with wholesale buyers of heroin.
