Three Albanians have been arrested by Italian authorities for involvement in drug trafficking. Two of the arrested are brother and sister, born in 1997 and 2004, while the third person was born in 1982.
These people had hidden 172 kilograms of cocaine in the truck, while they had long been under the surveillance of the authorities of Bologna and Modena.
Authorities intervened when the truck driver (born in 1982) handed a heavy yellow envelope to two other people (a brother and sister). The three Albanians were arrested in flagrante delicto, while the entire cocaine load hidden in the truck, divided into packages ready for sale, was seized.
What caught our attention was the use of the logo of the Tirana football team "KF Tirana" on some of the cocaine packages, while others were wrapped with different figures.
This division of drug packages is a method consistently used by groups involved in the cocaine market to distinguish who certain quantities and loads belong to.
