The former prison officer and 4 other people who were arrested for arms trafficking from Shkodra to Tirana, have been left in prison.
As in the testimony given by the former police officer, her lawyer also said that she was not aware that weapons were being transported.
Halilaj, in her testimony, had admitted that she performed the role of an observer, however, she denied before the investigators, that she knew that there were weapons in the second car 'BMË'.
According to her, the group of boys had told her that they would go to Tirana to accompany some people and it was never mentioned to her that an arsenal of weapons would be sold. In her statements, the 22-year-old woman confirmed the connection with the other vehicle and according to her along the entire route she performed the role of observer and opening the road, with the aim of arriving in Tirana without problems.
Meanwhile, the other 4 arrested, Denis Hasaj, Marjan Hasaj, Redi Nika and Sabian Hasaj, have kept their mouths shut before the investigators, not revealing any details about the sale of weapons, including the names of the persons to whom they were to be sold in Tirana.
The 9 guns seized turn out to be from '97, stored since that time, but are active and in use. As well as selling them, the group of boys also refused to tell where they got them and who they belong to.
