They were selling devices that broadcast pirate channels, a group of 11 people

The police have arrested 3 people, who are accused of selling decorative devices for televisions, for which specific payment is required from officially licensed platforms.

Official sources informed that citizens with the initials FL, 55 years old, AM, 50 years old, and EB, 70 years old, all three residents of Tirana, fell behind the bars. Meanwhile, 7 others were criminally prosecuted and another was declared wanted.

" Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the Sector for the Investigation of Cybercrimes and the Sector of the Special Force of Special Operations and Research, in the DVP Tirana, in the direction of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Jurisdiction of General Tirana, after a real investigative work of several months, they finalized the coded police operation "Transmodulari".

As a result, citizens were detained:

- FL, 55 years old, AM, 50 years old, and EB, 70 years old, all three living in Tirana.

Citizens ES, 21 years old, E. Hj., 35 years old, A. Gj., 43 years old, DM, 23 years old, GD, 33 years old, GP, 26 years old, ET, 21 years old, all residents of Tirana, and citizen JV, 30 years old, resident in Tirana, was declared wanted.

From the investigative actions carried out, it has emerged that these citizens, in their commercial entities, were selling decoder devices that transmit to local and foreign television channels, and for which a specific payment is required from official licensed platforms. 

During the checks carried out in these entities, 200 decoder devices, of various terrestrial and satellite models, were found, and the transmodular that controlled all the IPs distributed after the sale of the decoders, with the list of specific channels, as well as real-time channel tracking across distributed entities.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions. "- announced the police.
