A quantity of TNT exploded in the early hours of the morning in a bar in a building in Tirana in the Fresku area, causing only material damage.
It is reported that the incident occurred at around 04:15 on "Ramazan Gaxheri" street outside a market.
The photo below also shows the damage caused by the TNT explosion.
The bar is owned by Lulzim Lika, principal of a school in Fresk.
The police are investigating the conflicts his sons have. They also own a local market and a billiards room.
The police report that it is suspected that an explosive substance exploded in the air conditioner motor. Fortunately, the explosion only caused material damage. The investigation team is continuing its work to identify and capture the perpetrator(s).
"Tirana/Preliminary information. At around 04:15, on "Ramazan Gaxheri" street, outside the market owned by citizen LL, it is suspected that a quantity of suspected explosive material exploded in the air conditioner motor.
"The explosion caused only material damage. The Police Services and the investigation team immediately went to the scene and continue working to identify and capture the perpetrator(s), as well as to fully document the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
