A few days ago, the Greek police arrested 3 Albanian citizens suspected of two powerful explosive explosions in a gas station and a wine cellar in Athens that caused extensive material damage.
Geni Çato, 37 years old, Përmeti and Evis Shyti, 40 years old, were identified as perpetrators for the incident at the gas station, while Kristo Xixho, 35 years old from Durrës and a Romanian citizen, were identified for the one at the wine cellar. A fourth Albanian, a friend of Xixho's, identified as Aristotel Stefanidhi, 23 years old from Këlcyra, was arrested along with them, accused of carrying weapons without a permit. The Greek media have recently discovered their connection with the heads of the Greek mafia who operate in the field of fines and murders.
At least two of the four Albanians who fell into the clutches of the Greek police are trusted people of the three "chief godfathers" of Athens, who have been executed in the last seven years. In fact, one of them, the infamous Kristo Xixho, the so-called "bomber of the wine cellar", has been accused of being a declared hooligan of the "Olympiakos" club in Pagrati, while his compatriot Evis Shyti or "Boukouvala", a member of the rival gang , has been accused of complicity in a murder.
Shyti is being prosecuted for the big explosion that happened at a gas station in Piraeus, on 08.03. 2024. However, as "Espresso" discovers, the shooting on 23.03.2024, at the premiere of the show of the famous Greek singer Katerina Lioliou in the renovated night club "LUX Athens" on "Syngrou" street, was definitely not a message " protection-blackmail" against the owner of the nightclub, but a failed assassination attempt against a 53-year-old "godfather", who had just been released from prison and had left the nightclub a few minutes earlier.
The co-worker-motorcyclist, who was on "observation" nearby, transported the gunman and was notified from the inside about the departure of the "godfather". But he could not catch him, and nevertheless fired twice with a Kalashnikov at the facade of the night club. And this, according to the competent bodies, was made as a "good" excuse for the 54-year-old customer, who is a prisoner and does not make mistakes easily.
Even present at the scene was the Albanian Kristo Xixho, who is the right-hand man of the 53-year-old "godfather" and who stayed for a while at the scene after the shooting even after his "leader" had already left. Xixho, known for extortion and robbery, was caught on Tuesday in Nea Smyrni together with his Albanian accomplice, including the Romanian Antonis Karapasias in their group. They are co-responsible for the explosion that occurred in the wine cellar of the owner of a buzuq store on 11.03. 2024 at A. Panto 7, parallel to "Syngrou" street.
In fact, as "Espresso" reveals, from the investigation file, the joint meeting a few minutes before and after the bomb was placed in the winery, was in the parking lot of "YTON The Music Show" in "Petrou Ralli", where in recent years the famous Greek singer Nikos Vertis appears, who is certainly not involved in the event.
The big question of the Athens police is who knew that the 53-year-old "godfather" would be in the bar where Katerina Lioliou performed, a bar that the authorities link to the same ownership of the winery. The Albanian Evis Shyti, who, together with his compatriot Geni Çato, planted the bomb at the gas station on "Skylitsi" street in Piraeus, was the first companion of the godfather of the night Manolis Karagiannis, killed on 27/6/2018, at 10 o'clock in morning, in P. Faliro. Karagiannis, who had a bitter feud with the "Godfather of Godfathers" Vassilis Stefanakos, is considered by authorities to be the notorious criminal behind the murder of retired EKAM special forces officer Spyros Papachristou. Shyti uses five different pseudonyms, such as the first name Buokouvalas, and is accused of "collaboration in murder", but also "collaboration in attempted murder". Albanian Geni Čato belonged to the group of murdered godfathers Vasilis Grivas and Giorgos Litsa. Shyti and Çato were caught after an operation coordinated by the Department of Extortion, at noon on 29.04.2024 while walking on the sidewalk of Panteion University.

As "Espresso" reveals, in the rival gang, the 35-year-old Albanian Kristo Xhixho has officially declared himself as the manager of another gas station belonging to the Greek "K", who appears as the official owner of the gas station in Piraeus where the first explosion occurred.
Xixho is suspected of belonging to the group of the chief godfather who was released from prison three months ago and who was included in a file where he was "photographed" as the "moral author" of the murder of journalist Giorgos Karaivaz on 9.4.2021. Xixho has previously been accused of violating sports, fireworks and weapons laws, as an active member of the "Olympiakos" association in Pagrati. No one was injured in both explosions, while the bombs consisted of a large amount of explosive material, a conventional detonator and a slow-burning fuse. However, the author's action to spray his motorcycle with a special spray to erase any traces of DNA and fingerprints has caused a stir. In fact, his action was "caught" by a store's camera.
However, in relation to the wine cellar, from the investigation of the camera footage, it was revealed that the perpetrators' car, "Peugeot" 3008, owned by a rental company, shortly before the explosion, was driven from the nightclub "YTON The Music Show" ”, which is located on the street “Petrou Ralli 38” Aegaleo. A motorcycle was used in the itinerary, which after the explosion was parked near the house of the Romanian collaborator in Aegaleo and immediately after that the same car started again, ending up again at "YTON The Music Show".
A series of handwritten notes were found in Kristo Xixho's apartment, with business notes, sums of money, as well as names and phone numbers. In the possession of his Albanian collaborator Aristotel Stefanidhi, a ZASTAVA 7.65 pistol was found, with a magazine with three cartridges, as well as two fake license plates.
