The employee of the municipality of Shkodra, Ermal Dizdari, was raped during a conflict that happened this morning around 09:00 in the "Salo Halili" neighborhood.
The police of Shkodra informs that Dizdari suffered physical injuries from being hit with hard objects and is in the hospital of Shkodra.
"Around 09:00, in the "Salo Halili" neighborhood, it is suspected that during a conflict, the citizen ED, 49 years old, who is receiving medical help at the Shkodër Regional Hospital, suffered physical injuries from being hit with hard objects. The Police Services immediately went to the scene and are continuing the checks to catch the perpetrator, the city police informed today.
Dizdari was brought to the Trauma hospital. A scan was done about an hour ago and it was found that there is a hemorrhage in the brain, but he is conscious and talking. However, it will be kept under the monitoring of doctors. At the moment there is no need for surgical intervention.
In addition to the hemorrhage, there is a plunging fracture to the forehead. There are several wounds on the head and 4 broken teeth in the upper part of the mouth.
The investigative group, led by the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
