The 39-year-old Albanian Bledar Dedja was found by a family friend on the morning of January 21, stabbed to death, in a small forest in Paderno di Pieve di Grappa, in Treviso, Italy, as he had been missing since the afternoon of Saturday the 20 January.
The body, stabbed many times, was found dumped in a bush near an unpaved dirt lane that connects Via dei Colli with provincial road 20. Some of the wounds are very deep and inflicted with the tip of the knife, while one one of his lungs had been punctured by the blows.
Journalist Alba Kepi spoke to "Albania LIVE" from Italy, as she revealed new details.
She said that the victim was found half-naked, as the track of the robbery was dismissed, as all personal belongings were near the body.
"An autopsy will be done the next day. So far, an external examination has been done which revealed that there are 20 stab wounds on the body. The area where the incident took place is not very populated, as the crime weapon has not yet been found. It is thought to have been dumped in the forest at some point. Robbery is excluded, as the wallet, mobile phone and other items are lying next to the victim. He tried to get away from the killer by leaving his car and walking for about 100 meters. Also, the wounds on his hands show that he tried to defend himself by blocking the knife with his hand. The police report that he was also found half-naked, as his pants were down. Perhaps this was a method of the killer to divert attention from the main cause of the murder.
The 39-year-old has two daughters, it is not known if he had problems with his wife, apparently they are a normal family, not much is known about their relationship. Dedja had informed his wife that he would meet some people after work, but without telling her who. He worked from 8 am to 6 pm. He often went out with his work colleagues," she said.
