New details have come to light about the victim Adnant Jaupi, who turned out to be the person whose body was found dismembered and buried in Xarre of Konispol Municipality in Saranda.
It is reported that the 51-year-old Jaupaj was identified through DNA analysis, which proved that the bone material found belonged to him.
Residents who knew the victim are reluctant to speak on camera. While outside of them they claim that the 51-year-old was from Elbasan, he no longer worked as a shepherd. In recent months, he worked wherever he could with daily wages.
According to residents, he had no family in Konispol, and was single. Adnant Jaupi was sleeping in the basement of the Klloger mosque, where his dismembered body was found. During the search for bone materials by the investigation group, personal items such as clothes and blankets were also found, which proves that the basement had been turned into a shelter.
Outside the cameras, the residents of Xarra say that the victim was drunk most of the time, and spent the money he earned working on brandy.
The body of the 51-year-old was found a day ago in the basement of the Klogjeri Mosque, divided into two parts.
