The photo of the truck driver with which 88,000 euros of suspected proceeds from criminal activity arrived at the port of Durrës has been obtained.

The arrested person is Elton Balliu, 34 years old from Tirana, and the Italian-Albanian action came after information received from the Guardia di Financa in Bari.

Sources indicate that the truck had left from Naples and arrived in Bari to then cross with the ship Rigel III in Durrës, where it was checked and found the amount of euros.

"The Investigation Section and ZMPKT Durrës, in cooperation with the Border Police Station of the port of Durrës, finalized the police operation coded "Package", during which the citizen Elton Balliu, 34 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested red-handed", it is stated in the official announcement.
