Today, the police discovered an arms base in Vlora. The blue uniforms seized snipers, Kalashnikovs, ammunition, masks and many other weapons, as Luciano (Albano) Deraj was captured. The latter is a familiar name to the police. It turns out that in 2014 he was arrested in Italy for drug trafficking and possession of weapons without a permit.
He was arrested together with 2 other Albanians Ervin Lushaj and Voglush Lazaj. Carabinieri seized from the gang in the car and apartment 34 kg of marijuana, 619 grams of heroin, 20 kg of drug mixers, precision scales, materials for drug packaging, two 7.65 mm caliber automatic pistols, a modified pistol, 2 12 mm caliber shotguns and 20 mm, dozens of cartridges of different calibers, several kg of powder for filling cartridges for shotguns, mobile phones, a bulletproof vest, a Ford Focus car, a BMW coupe car with Albanian license plates and a small amount of euros in cash.
