Caught with cocaine worth 810 thousand euros, the Court leaves the two traffickers in prison in Vlora

The two arrested people who were caught with 810 thousand euros of cocaine are being held in prison.

The Vlora Court has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" for citizens Kujtim Metaj and Viktor Jaupaj who were arrested by the police after being caught with drugs.

They were arrested by the Vlora police on Thursday, while a quantity of about 3.4 kg of cocaine and 133 grams of heroin with a value of 810 thousand euros was seized.

 The two drug dealers, Viktor Jaupaj, 53, and Kujtim Metaj, 37, were transporting the narcotics to Vlora, to sell to other citizens who distributed them in doses. The police also seized 3 electronic scales, 3 mobile phones and the vehicle that these citizens used for transportation.

The two arrested had been under police surveillance for almost a month, while it is known that Jaupaj and Metaj were suppliers of hard drugs.
