Specialists for the Investigation of Narcotics and the Special Operations Force, after a several-week investigation followed by special methods, in implementation of the plan of measures to increase security parameters in schools, have successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "Quick Strike".
As a result of this operation, it was possible to capture and arrest in flagrante delicto the citizen PN, 28 years old, resident of Lezha.
During the physical search and in his apartment, the Police services found and seized as material evidence a quantity of suspected narcotic substance, cannabis sativa, divided into dozens of doses ready for sale.
From preliminary investigations, it is suspected that this citizen operated continuously, distributing narcotics mainly near schools, creating a serious risk to the safety of students.
Investigations are continuing to discover whether there are other people involved in this distribution network.
The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, Lezha, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", the police announced.
