The testimony of 39-year-old Albanian Gentian Mino, who shot and killed his Romanian co-habitant Jana Baja in Greece, has been clarified.
"I came back drunk and shot him with two bullets", he is said to have said.
It was the Albanian himself who notified the police after the crime and confessed to the murder of the 29-year-old.
He told the Greek investigators that he had returned to the apartment in the late hours of the night in a drunken state and after arguing with his partner he shot two bullets at her.
One of the bullets shot the 29-year-old in the head. It is reported that the Albanian had the pistol without a permit.
The couple lived in a 2nd floor apartment on Patroklou Street in Kaminia, Crete.
When the ambulance and the police went to the scene, they found the 29-year-old dead, next to the sofa in the living room.
The victim had a gunshot wound near the ear. The crime weapon was found on a table inside the house and inside it were 3 cartridges.
