Three hours after the serious incident that occurred at noon today, the RENEA team of divers found the body of the fisherman who drowned in the waters of the Mat River near the village of Berzane in Lezha.
RENEA divers have managed to find and recover the body of the 68-year-old fisherman.
The fisherman was reported missing by his friend at around 1:40 p.m.
It is suspected that he had entered the water near the Bird Bridge to cast fishing nets and had never returned to the surface.

The RENEA Special Unit's divers have made it possible to find and remove from the water the body of citizen DQ, 68 years old.
The investigation team continues to work to fully document the circumstances of this event.
