A ferry that had left from the Port of Durrës to Bari has turned back, after a medical emergency on board.
The Captaincy of the Port of Durrës informs that after the notification received at 15:50 from Af Marina, which had left the Port of Durrës at 13:00 in the direction of Bar, for a medical emergency (miscarriage) of an Albanian citizen.
As soon as the notification was received, the ferry was ordered to return to Rada and the tugboat Joni was put on standby to go to Rada to pick up the sick citizen, who, according to preliminary information, is suspected to have had an abortion.
Also, in cooperation with the port authority, the APD ambulance was placed on standby to transport the patient to the hospital.
