The Irish couple

What was sold as a sign of humanity was actually a robbery. We are talking about the Irish couple, who handed over a bag with 40 thousand euros to the Shkodra police, with the argument that they had found it in Durrës. But after police investigations it turned out that it was a theft.

They stated that they had found him on March 26, around 3:30 PM, near a supermarket in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës Beach.

However, security cameras revealed that their statement was not true, raising suspicions of their involvement in a robbery. They took the amount of money from two young men on the beach, who found it after it fell to its owner. It is suspected that the money belonged to a real estate agent.

After witnessing the scene of the money falling and being picked up by the young men who found it by chance, they decided to take unfair advantage, claiming that the amount belonged to them. In return, Stack gave the two young men a 500 euro reward.

The couple then left the hotel and Durres in the direction of Shkodra. Durres police detected their movements through security cameras and the car's GPS and cooperated with Shkodra police to escort them. After escorting them to Durres, the police decided to detain the couple for theft in collaboration.

The Durrës Court today imposed security measures on Kevin Stack, 42, and his partner Kate Connolly. According to the court decision given by Judge Suela Xhani, citizen Kevin Stack will remain in prison under arrest, while Kate Connolly has been assigned an alternative measure. She will be held in custody until she deposits a 5,000 euro bail, which she must pay within five days.
