A person has been injured by gunfire in the village of Bolene, Vlora. According to preliminary information, the injured person is a shepherd, who is suspected of having shot himself with a shotgun.
The incident occurred in the stables where he was working as a shepherd, and the full circumstances of the incident are still unknown.
Immediately after being injured, he was urgently transported to the Vlora hospital, where he is under the care of doctors.
The police have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to clarify whether it was a case of self-harm or other circumstances.

Crime Investigation Specialists at the Himara Police Station referred materials for evaluation, after on 04.08.2025, at around 23:00, citizen PB, 46 years old, in his hut in the village of Bolenë, is suspected of accidentally injuring himself with a double-barreled shotgun, which he owned with a permit. The 46-year-old is in hospital, out of danger to his life.
