A serious incident was recorded this evening in Vau e Dejës, where a 65-year-old man was found dead on the corner of the street. The incident reportedly occurred at around 9:00 PM, in the village of Paçram, and police confirm the discovery of a lifeless body, which was suspected to have been shot with a firearm.
The victim has been identified as Frrok Lleshaj, 65, and numerous police forces have arrived at the scene. The victim is said to have been previously convicted of murder, so the main line of investigation remains that of a possible blood feud.
"In Vau i Dejës, citizen F. Ll., 65 years old, was found dead on the street, suspected of being killed with a firearm. Police services are at the scene ," the police announced in advance.
It is currently reported that the 65-year-old man was walking in the streets of the village of Pacram this evening when he was shot with a gun, and the cause is suspected to be revenge.
Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to clarify the circumstances, legal documentation, as well as to identify and capture the perpetrator.
Frrok Lleshaj, a former state police officer, killed his cousin Dode Lleshaj with a firearm 20 years ago. He has been serving an 18-year prison sentence. According to information, the 65-year-old has been out of prison for two years. This remains the main clue to the incident.
