A building caught fire this Tuesday afternoon in Tirana, in the area opposite the University Hospital.
According to preliminary data, the fire has engulfed a significant part of the building's exterior facade, spreading rapidly and causing significant material damage. The residents of the building reacted immediately, evacuating their premises.
As can be seen from the footage, firefighters have arrived at the scene and have intervened with specialized equipment. Firefighters have used escalators to approach the upper floors of the building, helping to evacuate residents and isolate the flames.
Their intervention focused on both rescuing the people remaining in the apartments and extinguishing the fire to prevent it from spreading to other parts of the building.
