How did the incident happen?

Italian businessman Eduardo Sarchi was killed in the early hours of Saturday morning, October 27, in Salari, Tepelena. He was allegedly held for 20 minutes in terror along with his friends.

According to the investigative file, the perpetrator, Kamber Sulçe, fired several shots into the air and then at the Italian businessman and his 3 friends. One of the bullets hit the Italian businessman in the thigh, who the file states was a victim of a conflict that started between his partner's son and the perpetrator over the high beams of the car.

The son of Eduardo Sarch's partner told police that their car broke down on the road due to lack of fuel, and his father and the Italian businessman went to help them, in two different cars. In his testimony, he told police officers that at this moment the barrage of bullets began, which lasted for over 20 minutes.

It all started with the car lights.

His son Gazmend Braçi, together with three friends, after having dinner, went out in a hunting vehicle at around 9:30 PM. Around 10:30 PM, they met the perpetrator, unexpectedly, quite by chance.

The SUV in which Gazmend Braçi and his friends were traveling had headlights on the front, while the perpetrator was in a pickup truck with high beams, with which he was transporting a deposit to his farm.

"Why did you turn on the lights?!" - This was the question that sparked the debate between the parties.

One of Gazmend Braçi's friends got out of the car and insulted the author. At this point, the author introduced himself by name, telling him that he came from Vlora, and remained steadfast.

Then he left... After 10 minutes, the four-person vehicle ran out of fuel on a hill. So, Gazmend Braçi called his father, Eqerem Braçi. The latter went with the Italian to help.

During this time, the author went to get the long gun, which is used for hunting wild animals. He got it ready and returned to the place where the argument had taken place.

He approached the young men's car, but did not find them there, as they were about 100 meters away.

The 48-year-old began shooting in the air, cursing at them and demanding an explanation. It didn't take long before he continued shooting from 100 meters away, in their direction.

Shooting that lasted about 20 minutes.

The fatal moment was when he opened fire on the "Range Rover", the bullets grazed the tires on the passenger side, in an attempt to enter the SUV, the Italian businessman was injured in the thigh, which caused him to bleed and die instantly, because it hit his main artery.
