The first floor of a hotel in Tirana, on "Don Bosko" Street, was engulfed in flames this evening. The cause of the fire is suspected to have been an electrical fault in the laundry area.
Meanwhile, the Police services arrived at the scene, which evacuated the people inside the hotel, as well as the fire services, which made it possible to extinguish the fire.
"Around 20:50, on "Don Bosko" Street, it is suspected that as a result of an electrical defect in the laundry area, a fire broke out on the first floor of a hotel.
"Immediately after the notification, the Police services arrived at the scene, which evacuated the people inside the hotel, as well as the fire services, which made it possible to extinguish the fire. The investigation team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the case ," the police announced.
