New details have emerged regarding the serious incident that occurred in Salari, Tepelena, where Italian businessman Edoardo Sarchi, 44, was killed.

How did the murder happen?
The incident took place after midnight on Friday, in an area called “Dilan”, between the villages of Nivicë and Salari. The lifeless body of Edoardo Sarchi was found with a bullet in his head, while he was said to have been hunting with four other people.
Among them was his business partner, Eqrem Braçi, as well as the latter's two sons, Gazmenti and Danieli.
Sarchi had only received one bullet in the internal aorta of his leg, suffering massive hemorrhage, and as a result, he died on the spot.
Contrary to media reports that the Italian had been hit in the head with a wooden stick before being shot, forensic expertise did not confirm this fact.
The cause of the murder is initially suspected to be disagreements between two partners, Italian businessman Edoardo Sarchi, and citizen Eqerem Braçe, also accompanied by police.
It is reported that father and son, Eqerem and Gazment Braçe, lived in Tirana, while in the village where the crime occurred they had a house that they had restored and returned from time to time to stay.

The escorts said that they initially heard three shots that were very close, which caused the first Land Rover vehicle, on board of which was the Italian businessman and one of the escorts, to stop.
After standing for 2 minutes, another burst was heard, probably in the air. At this moment, the Italian businessman and the other people on board hide behind the vehicle accompanied by screams of fear.
Initially, the front tire of the vehicle was punctured, while the second shot of the automatic weapon by the mysterious person caused the injury of the Italian businessman. It is believed that the latter was injured by a ricochet bullet that caught him in the femur of his right leg. After the mysterious aggressor fired the weapon, the Italian businessman complained about the wound he received. The bleeding was heavy from the first moment, while the sons of Eqerem Braçi notify the police about what had happened that a mysterious person had shot them with a burst of gunfire in a place called Dilan.
All of the above statements are based on statements or allegations made to the police by the detainees. The entire incident is surrounded by mystery and the testimonies of the detainees, who are now free, leave many questions about this serious incident.
The police and ambulance arrived at the scene, transporting the Italian's dead body and escorting Eqrem, Gazmend and Daniel Braçi to the police station, as well as Armir Hitoveiz, a shepherd from the village of Nivicë, as a witness.
It is learned that the four people who gave testimony yesterday may be called again in the following days depending on the dynamics of the event.
