The person who ordered the murder, according to the Prosecution, is suspected to have been Astrit Avdylaj in revenge for the attempt to kill his nephew, Aldo Avdylaj.
New details have emerged from yesterday's SPAK operation that hit a criminal group in the Shijak area.
Alfred Doka and Ermir Dedja acted as Edmir Bregu's executioners in 2021 in Durrës, an event that was revealed the day before by SPAK. The person who ordered the murder, according to the Prosecution, is suspected to have been Astrit Avdylaj in revenge for the attempted murder of his nephew, Aldo Avdylaj. Alfred Doka is wanted, while Dedja, 29, was executed on May 20 of this year in Durrës.
A member of the Avdylaj gang was killed near a health center while walking. He was shot with Kalashnikov bullets from a "Seat" car. The perpetrators are not yet known, but the police have identified 5 people as being involved in the incident. Two have been arrested, Erion Ndoni, 36, and Klodian Berisha, 35, who are accused of smuggling the vehicle used by the perpetrators.
33-year-old Xhuljano Dyrmishi is wanted for providing the conditions and material means to commit murder and for smuggling goods. The other two, an Albanian and a Moroccan, were wanted two days after the serious incident on charges of providing the conditions to commit murder.
Edmir Bregu alias Ilir Kuçi, 32 years old, was originally from Kukës and lived in the former Kënetë area of Durrës. On the afternoon of January 23, 2023, he was driving his “Porsche Cayene” car in neighborhood no. 16 of Durrës. The 32-year-old was executed with two bullets, one in the head and one in the chest as soon as he got out of his car.
How the murder happened:
SPAK has followed the flow of the codes "Q1CTJT" used by Aldo Avdyli and the code "TEDV40", used by Astrit Avdyli, where through conversations on the "Sky" application, it was understood that these characters organized and ordered the murder of Edmir Koçi alias Bregu on January 21, 2021 in Durrës.
Part of this murder, according to SPAK, is Enea Kume, the brother of Socialist Party MP Loer Kume, who is believed to have had the role of an assistant in this murder.
SPAK has explained that the murder was committed for vengeful purposes because the Avdylaj group had previously discovered that Edmir Bregu had planned and attempted to kill Aldo Avdyl.
This was enough for the Avdyls to organize the murder of Bregu, as he had come from Italy to Durrës to spend the end-of-year holidays. Bregu's murder was carried out through two people, Alfred Doka and Ermir Dedja, who are currently wanted.
