Other details have emerged from the double murder that occurred in Balldre, Lezha, where Kreshnik and Gentjana Mujeci (husband and wife) lost their lives in an assassination attempt on Sunday afternoon. They were shot with automatic fire from a vehicle, while the police have announced a search for Renato, Florin and Adriano Mhillaj. The suspected perpetrators of the crime used two vehicles, an Audi A4 and a Golf5.
One of the vehicles was tasked with intercepting the vehicle carrying the victims, while the other vehicle fired at least 30 bullets at Kreshnik and Gentjana Mujeci. According to the police, who have not yet arrested the suspects, but have not seized the weapons of the crime or the vehicles used by the perpetrators, the murder was committed for reasons of revenge/blood feud.
According to the latest information, the suspected perpetrators have been monitoring the victims for several hours. The latter were in a bar, when the perpetrators waited for them to come out and execute them a few kilometers later.
Reports indicate that the suspected perpetrators' plan may have failed, as they showed signs of panic when a police vehicle passed by the bar where the three young men were waiting for the couple they were going to execute.
However, it seems that the people suspected of the crime have managed to carry out their plan, thus taking revenge for a crime committed 10 years ago by Kreshnik Mujeci. The latter is suspected of the murder of Genc Mhilli. At that time, one of the arrested was Kreshnik Mujeci, but the latter was released by court decision, gaining innocence. But it seems that the victim's son did not trust the Court and 10 years after the murder of his father, he took revenge.
