A 36-year-old man has been arrested by the Vlora Police, suspected of selling narcotics in the Dhërmi area.
Eduard Piro, a resident of Lushnja, was arrested while driving a Volkswagen. During a physical search, a suspected quantity of cannabis sativa, divided into doses, ready for sale, was found on him.
The investigation continued with a search of the apartment he was using in the Drimadhë area. There, around 450 grams of narcotics suspected to be hashish, as well as a quantity of cocaine, both divided into doses, were seized.
As material evidence, the police confiscated the narcotics, the vehicle and the cell phone of the arrested person. The materials have been forwarded to the Vlora Prosecutor's Office, while the 36-year-old is charged with production and sale of narcotics.
"The Narcotics Investigation Specialists of the Vlora Police Department, following increased controls to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, based on information obtained through operational means, have cracked a case of the sale of narcotics in the village of Dhërmi.
Citizen EP, 36 years old, resident of Lushnja, was arrested in this case.
Police services have stopped a "Volkswagen" vehicle in the village of Dhërmi, driven by citizen EP. During the physical search of him and the search of the vehicle, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa, ready for sale, was found.
Subsequently, during the search of the premises where this citizen lived, in the village of Drimadhë, approximately 450 grams of the suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa and a quantity of the suspected narcotic substance Cocaine were found, divided into doses, ready for sale.
"The narcotics were seized as material evidence, along with this citizen's vehicle and cell phone," the police statement said.
The procedural materials were referred to the Vlora Prosecutor's Office for further action, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", the police announced.
