Friends of 24-year-old Palestinian Rayan Alwan, who was killed in Tirana on February 22, have shared other details about what happened.
They explained that the 24-year-old's parents staged everything, thinking that if the murder were committed in our country, then her friends would not discover the truth.
"Ryan had a Greek passport but cannot travel from Germany because he does not have a German residence permit, only asylum status.
"They believed that if she was killed there, we would not learn anything about her fate since the German press did not publish anything about the news. We have been looking for her for a month, but until yesterday we knew nothing. It was a news published on Balkanweb that revealed the fate of our friend to us," they said.
According to them, Rayan Alwan's mother informed the family in Lebanon 2 days ago that Ryan had died due to a car accident in Germany. An article was even published about this in the Lebanese media.
"Her mother, two days ago, informed her family in Lebanon that Ryan had passed away due to a car accident in Germany. That's why we started to suspect and started searching the internet, until we came across the news published by you.
"She is hiding the crime from everyone, but we have discovered the truth. We just want everyone to know that her mother and father were the ones who killed her. We just want her body to be buried in Berlin," they said. /BW/
