The identity of the victim and the author of the serious event in Burrel is revealed.
It is learned that the perpetrator of the murder is Islam Meta, while the victim is Petrit Kuka.
63-year-old Islam Meta killed 52-year-old Petrit Kuka with a shotgun this morning.
The author surrendered immediately after the incident, as he confessed all the details to the police.
According to the police, it is suspected that the incident took place for revenge, since in 2013 Petri Kuka injured Islam Meta's daughter.
"On 21.01.2024, in the village of Vig, in Burrel, citizen IM, about 63 years old, killed citizen P. K, about 52 years old, with a shotgun.
The suspected author of this event, after committing the crime, called the Police and told about the circumstances of the event and then asked to surrender.
From the preliminary investigations carried out, it is suspected that the incident happened because the victim, a citizen PK, in 2013, for weak motives, injured the daughter of a citizen IM
The Police Services immediately went to the scene and are escorting the IM citizen to the police station.
The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
