Chronicle journalist Artan Hoxha, in a television interview, spoke about the murder of the well-known Iraqi mobster, Mustafa Aljiburi, known by the nickname "Benzema".
Hoxha said that the executioner is a 19-year-old man of Albanian origin who grew up in Sweden, identified as Xuliano Prenga, originally from Gjegjani i Puka.
The journalist discovered that the 19-year-old went by plane to Baghdad on January 7th and on the 8th executed "Benzeman" with a volley of bullets, inside his car, where he was moving accompanied by an escort.
After the incident, the young Albanian was able to leave with the moving motorcycle, but was accidentally caught by a police patrol. He was arrested and faces the death penalty.
While Benzema was one of the biggest mobsters in the Middle East and Sweden, where he controlled the cocaine traffic.
"We are so spread out that it seems a great wonder how such a small nation can have such a large geographical spread. The Last Event is a Hollywood script, I found it extraordinary. First, how can I make a 19-year-old, leave from a small town north of Stockholm, go to Baghdad on Sunday the 7th and on Monday the 8th eliminate one of the most famous characters in the world of crime, which also moves with an escort. He goes and hits with 14 shells, one in a space of about 10 cm by 10, like a table. Mustafa Aljiburi is one of the three leaders of the organization known as "Foxes of Kurdistan". The person who was killed is a Swedish citizen and to escape extradition he took Turkish nationality, then Iraqi nationality, while he also had Iranian nationality. The organization he leads has 6,000 members, a very violent organization. In addition to drug trafficking and clandestine activities in the Middle East, they took up cocaine trafficking in Scandinavia. They hit all the other groups and took over the retail distribution, as with the wholesale distribution, the other organizations, including the Albanians, said the journalist in "Euronews Albania".
Hoxha emphasized that Juliano Prenga is in danger of being killed in the Baghdad prison and he is not being given a fair trial because he has a Swedish passport and the embassy of this country in Iraq was burned due to developments with the Koran.
"There is a problem now, he only has a Swedish passport and the Swedish embassy in Iraq has been burned down because of developments with the Koran. Second, Iraq has the death penalty, and it is seriously at risk of the death penalty because it has no legal recourse. He doesn't even have an Albanian passport because he lived in Albania until he was 8 years old and he didn't get his passport. The thing that his family members are looking for as a minimum now is that he be given a fair trial, as they are afraid that they will eliminate him and in prison", said Hoxha.
