Juliano Miho, who killed the partner of the woman with whom he was in the process of divorcing the night before, claims that the attack was initiated by the victim himself, 23-year-old Xhimi Bakaj.
The 39-year-old man, who worked in a car wash, stated in his testimony to the police that the knife belonged to the victim and he was simply defending himself during the physical confrontation between them.
"The woman used to call me and tell me that she was enjoying herself with her new boyfriend, she asked me for money for the children. Even Jimi used to come to my work and scold me", said the suspected author.
The cause of the young man's murder is suspected to be a divorce between the author and his wife with whom he has two children. The latter had left the apartment with the children for several months and was living with the 23-year-old. The perpetrator met the victim on the street and after an argument, shot him three times with a knife.
After the incident, the 39-year-old man was put in handcuffs, while the investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances and document the legal case.
