The caretaker of the elderly has revealed details of the murder of the 80-year-old woman. A day after the serious incident in the village of Pëllumbare in Përmet, where 82-year-old Leonidha Peçi killed his wife Afrovit with a stick, the woman who served and helped the elderly spoke today on the show "With an open heart".
She said that she was not paid, but she came to them because she felt sorry for them and brought them milk or food.
The woman confessed that she had been informed by Leonidha herself about Afrovit, but that he had told her that the 80-year-old woman had fallen and been killed. He then called the village nurse, who in turn notified the police.
"Leonidha informed me herself. I went and saw that I had blood and informed the village nurse. She notified the police. I used to go in the morning at 8:00 to bring the milk. The last conversation with Afrovit was like always, he didn't tell me anything. I was not employed. Sometimes I took the dish to them because they were alone. When I brought them the milk, they were both together. They were like always. I told him let's eat bread and he said 'Afroviti let's eat peppers'. I was not paid by the family, I went by myself without payment, without anything. When he showed me, he said he died. I told him why he died, he said he had fallen, let's pick him up. I didn't go to pick it up. He was calm, not even crying. He didn't talk to me or the nurse at all. The nurse said it's over ," said the witness of the event.
Meanwhile, the elderly man is in the hospital after his arrest after he developed heart problems.
