The Criminal Court of Tirana upheld the 'prison arrest' measure for Arlind Demushi, the perpetrator of the murder of 40-year-old Hajdar Ismailgeci in the Babrru area.
It is learned that the suspected perpetrator did not speak at the hearing, but his lawyer stated that the argument was spur of the moment and that Arlind Demushi did not intend to kill the 40-year-old.
According to the defense, he stabbed Ismailgeci in conditions of psychological shock, while adding that the charge of "premeditated murder" does not stand since the perpetrator kept the victim at home and that they had good relations.

The court did not take into account the lawyer's claims, ordering the measure of "prison arrest" against the suspected perpetrator.
