Imer Krrashi, arrested the day before after a dangerous pursuit by "Eagle" forces in Tirana, has refused to testify before investigators, requesting to speak at a later time.
Investigations against him continue, while the pistol found in the vehicle he was driving will be one of the key points of the investigation. Sources from the investigation group indicate that Krrashi is expected to be questioned again regarding the weapon and the circumstances of its possession.
According to police sources, the 31-year-old lived in a rented apartment in the Liqeni i Thate area, together with his wife.
He was caught by law enforcement immediately after leaving the apartment, after a well-coordinated pursuit, based on information previously provided about his location.
The car in which he attempted to escape, crashing into nine vehicles and a motorcycle on the streets of the capital, had German license plates and was registered in Krrashi's own name.
We recall that during the pursuit, an off-duty police officer and his wife, who were in the motorcycle that was hit by Krrashi's vehicle, were injured. Fortunately, both are out of danger.
We recall that Imer Krrashi, who also used the names Imer Masha and Imer Uka, is a well-known name in the justice system. He was part of the Marklen Haka group and has previously been accused of robbery with violence, intimidation, disobedience and minor injuries.
