
An Albanian woman was killed in Frosina, Italy, by her 50-year-old husband, the painter Oreste Raponi. The cause was an argument, after which the 50-year-old man stabbed his Albanian wife.
The couple's argument escalated shortly after 3am on Monday 10 June. Italian media reports that the author may have been under the influence of alcohol, while he was arrested.
The murder took place in via Baisi, in the Colle Campagiorni area, in the heart of the historic center.
