Two Albanian citizens have fallen into the hands of the Greek police after they were caught with over 9 kg of heroin in Thessaloniki.
The Greek police had provided information that citizen Erion Kasemi alias Gerald Kasemi, 36 years old from Kuçova, kept and stored quantities of heroin in the apartment of his sister-in-law, citizen Besjana Mile 24 years old, in Thessaloniki.
Yesterday, Kasemi was spotted leaving the 24-year-old's apartment and was detained. After a while, the young woman came out of the apartment herself, who was also stopped by the police.
A search was carried out in her apartment, where 18 packets of 9 kg 12 grams of heroin were found and seized inside a barrel and a plastic box.
During the inspection of Kasem's apartment on "Monastiriou" street no. 81, 2 electronic scales and 2 adhesive tapes for packaging were found and seized.
During the personal search of the two suspects, 2 mobile phones were found and seized. The control revealed that Erion Kasemi did not have the necessary documentation to stay in Greece.
