
The names of the two Albanians arrested yesterday in Igoumenica with about 100 kilograms of drugs have been revealed. They initially tried to flee the Greek police in a vehicle, but were stopped after crashing into another parked vehicle.
According to police sources, during the pursuit, one of the leaders of the operation opened warning fire. After abandoning the vehicle with the 4 bags of drugs, the two Albanians ran away, but were then handcuffed
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Aristidhi Dalipi, 24 years old with Albanian nationality and Greek citizenship, while the passenger is Amarildo Omeri, 35 years old from Fieri.
The owner of the vehicle is Dalipi's brother, citizen Dhionisios Lulëzim Dalipi, currently imprisoned in Koridhalo.
