The police have discovered an apartment adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants in Vlora, while they have handcuffed a 37-year-old man and announced a search for another.
According to the police, the arrested is Albjon Lika, who is the person who used this apartment to cultivate narcotic plants, while its owner Marjus Barjami is wanted.
Inside the house were found 160 electrical devices (energy stabilizer), 236 electric lamps, 10 aspirators, 5 air filters such as those used for cultivating narcotic plants indoors and 10 plastic canisters with chemical substances for plants.
In addition, a quantity of cannabis divided into 14 doses, combat ammunition and a mold of explosive material (tritol) with a detonator capsule in place and a flame-conducting fuse were found. A 16-year-old man is also under investigation, who was found with a quantity of cannabis that he had bought from the 37-year-old arrested.
"Vlora/Controls continue throughout the county, within the framework of the measures defined in the nationwide operational plan coded "Tempulli", for the attack on criminal activities in the field of narcotics. In implementation of these measures, it is finalized by the Section for Narcotics Investigation and Traffic and Special Force "Eagle", coded police operation "Focus 7".
A dwelling adapted to the cultivation of narcotic plants is discovered. 411 different electrical devices used for the cultivation of narcotic plants in closed spaces and 10 canisters with chemical substances for plants were found in the premises of this apartment and seized. Also, doses of cannabis, military ammunition and a mold of explosives (tritol) with a detonator capsule placed and a fire-conducting fuse mounted were seized.
The 37-year-old man who was using this apartment and had adapted it for the cultivation of narcotic plants was put in handcuffs. The work to catch the owner of the apartment continues. Another citizen is still at large, after a quantity of suspected narcotics was found on him, which he allegedly bought from the 37-year-old arrested.
As a result of checks carried out in various premises, within the nationwide operational plan coded "Tempulli", for the attack of criminal activities in the field of narcotics and after the information provided by the information intelligence, for a case of criminal activity in this field, the coded police operation "Focus 7" was organized and finalized.
During this operation, the Police services have exercised control in a residence in the neighborhood "1 Maji", which was suspected to be adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants, where they found and seized 160 electrical devices (energy stabilizer), 236 electric lamps, 10 aspirators, 5 air filters such as those used for the cultivation of narcotic plants in closed environments and 10 plastic canisters with chemical substances for plants.
Also, they found and seized a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, divided into 14 doses, combat ammunition and a mold of explosive material (tritol) with detonator capsule placed and flame retardant fuse mounted. Following the procedural actions for this case, the specialists of the Narcotics and Traffic Investigation Section: - have arrested the AL citizen, 37 years old, resident in Vlora; - have declared the UK citizen, 37 years old, a resident of Vlora, wanted.
Also, they referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for a 16-year-old citizen, after a small amount of suspected narcotic cannabis was found on him during the physical check, which he allegedly bought from the AL citizen. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office near the Court of the First Degree of General Jurisdiction Vlora, for further actions", the police announce.
