For 4 days now, Edison Oruqi, father of 3 children and resident of the "Kiras" neighborhood in Shkodra, has disappeared without a trace.
He had been working on the Shala River when he lost contact with his family. His disappearance remains a mystery, as his co-worker and family say they last saw Edison working at a guesthouse.
Skënder Pepkolaj, one of the associates, says that Edison was taken by the owner's brother to load construction materials and told that he would return him tomorrow. After the work was completed, he communicated that the worker was left on a small sandy island.
It was Pepkolaj himself who filed a police report for the disappearance of Edison, who was his assistant in the construction work. Shkodra Police have conducted several checks on the Shala River, but so far have not been able to find any results. (Balkanweb)
