Invited to "Top Albania Radio", Marin Mema yesterday, on Liberation Day, spoke about those who become patriots only on festive days, since according to him you should love the nation every day and work for it every day.
Marin Mema: "The nation will love every day, for better or for worse, because this is our country and we must develop it. If we don't develop it, we don't expect others to develop it, development doesn't come by itself."
Marini shows that before people have sacrificed all their wealth for the nation, while now the opposite is happening.
"A not very well-known figure, Nikolla Naço, an extraordinary patriot born in the surroundings of Korça, came from a rich family, went to Egypt and became rich himself, got involved in the national movement by investing and opening Albanian schools. When he died, Lasgush Poradeci said that he came from a rich family and became very rich himself, and when he died they had nothing to bury him with. He melted all his wealth to build the nation and today we see others sacrificing the nation for their wealth. Above all, they appear in the media and stay in power for years".
